I played SOMA almost a year ago and Simon's journey is still on my mind💔

okay so i was looking at posters and stuff in soma's files (wanna put them in voices of the void) and holy smokes i never noticed this

first is simon's apartment posters normal everyone's seen them, BUT!

second is simon's apartment but in the dream that akers puts him (idk if they're actually there or not but the file is named "poster_simons_room_xx_dream")

and oh my god look, oughh!!1 OUGHHH!!

Happy Birthday, Simon Jarret!

I was so fried and running around that I forgot that nine days ago my favorite psychological horror character Simon had a Birthday... But as my brother and my wife told me, it's better late than never, so... Congratulations to my best boy on his birthday, he's nine years old already:3. Such a small sketch on his other.. soma spoilers under cut but i needed to say a words

"oh, you mean catherine {...} it's better this way." says omnitool!cath about her human!self being dead. for some reason this made me thunk about host changes in my system + and the prev host almost always going dormant after without their knowledge.

and its hitting harder because for me the brain does copies-- when I first split, I was a total copy of CW. assuming im even me! the me i am! i could be Simon Jarretting it and not KNOW. its literally copy paste here.

and like omnitool!cath.... it usually is better that way. for the hosts to change. it means their ability to cope was exceeded. soemthing something that one poem on here -- make someone new and keep making more; you'll never know who you need in a war ):
